Cyst Treatment
Jaw cysts be seen in the roots of untreated teeth, at the root tips of teeth that have been faulty or insufficient in root canal treatment, and sometimes in genetically predisposed ones. Cyst; it is a tissue filled with semi-liquid pathogens covered with membrane. In fact, the human body is a defense mechanism against a harmful effect.
What is cyst surgery? The cyst is removed from the tissue together with the membrane around the tissue. If the volume of the cyst is too large, it is minimized with antibiotics and after the follow-up, the cyst is removed when the suitable volume is reached. If the cyst contains the root of the tooth and the teeth cannot get rid of the canal treatment, the teeth should also be removed. Sometimes cysts are seen around the root due to excessive decay or incomplete canal treatment. These teeth should be tried to be treated with renewal of canal treatment and removal of root tip and cyst around tip of the root called apical resection. However, it is always compulsory to tooth extraction that have been destroyed at this point.
